Braces are used to straighten up the improper teeth structured it puts steady pressure on the teeth and by staying in place for a certain amount of time. The braces are also known as braces, orthodontic cases or cases.
These braces produce faster results because the teeth because the teeth can move on their own without needing to be adjusted. This causes less friction and pressure on the teeth so the movement is less painful.

Types of braces:
- Metal and traditional braces:

- Ceramic braces:
Ceramic braces are similar to metal braces as they are also small in size and shape as metal braces. Other than this they have tooth color or clear brackets that mix with the teeth. Even if you use tooth color wires they are not noticeable. It is less noticeable and is more expensive
- Invisalign braces:
Invisalign braces are custom made braces which consist of series of 18-30 mouth guard which is clear plastic aligners. These aligners are removable and are replaced every two weeks. It is extremely invisible and the patient can eat or drink whatever they want to and is more expensive.
- Lingual braces:
Lingual braces are also same as metal and traditional braces but only the wires and brackets are placed on the inside of teeth. It is invisible from outside and is very difficult to clean and more expensive.
Side effects of bracelet teeth:
- Irritation: The braces having wire and brackets can cause the little bit of irritation to the inside of your mouth. It will take some time for your mouth to get used to the wires. There are several products to reduce the irritation. The most affected product for the reduction is orthodontic wax. The wax has to be placed on the wire or bracket which is causing you irritation to reduce the discomfort. If the wire is sharp and causing your gums to bleed then fix it from your orthodontist.
- Jaw pain: if you jaw part requires the readjustment and restoring the jaw. You may experience the jaw pain during the process. Depends on the severity of the pain, it may be managed with over the counter pain relievers or may require additional treatment options from your orthodontist.
When you eat or drink the braces and Invisalign work by shifting your teeth and your jaw, this creates discomfort. Discomfort leads to headaches and tooth pain which may occur with your orthodontic treatments. Generally, these discomforts can be managed by the pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen. If the head pain or tooth pain becomes more severe and uncomfortable consult your orthodontist.
